Does the treatment hurt?

The treatment is generally well tolerated. You may feel mild discomfort or a light prickling sensation during the microneedling, but most clients find it very manageable. A numbing cream can also be applied beforehand to keep you comfortable throughout the treatment.

Are there any side effects of treatment?

Some clients may experience mild redness, slight swelling, or skin sensitivity in the treated area for 24–48 hours after the procedure. In some cases, there may also be light peeling or dryness as the skin renews itself. These effects are temporary and usually resolve on their own within a few days.

How long does the treatment take?

The full appointment usually takes around 75 minutes, including consultation, preparation, numbing (if required), and the procedure.

Am I suitable for the treatment?

This treatment can be customised very easily to all skin types. Before your treatment we will have a consultation with yourself to determine your suitability for the treatment.
The most common conditions that may prevent someone from receiving this treatment include: Active skin infections or open wounds in the treatment area. Active acne, dermatitis, or severe skin irritation in the area being treated. Pregnancy or breastfeeding. Use of strong acne medications such as Isotretinoin (Accutane) within the last 6–12 months. History of keloid scarring or poor wound healing.

When can I see the results of this treatment?

Some clients may notice a slight glow or improvement shortly after the treatment, but the more noticeable results typically appear over the following days and weeks as the skin regenerates and pigmentation gradually improves. Results continue to improve with each additional session.

How can I maintain these results?

Results can be long-lasting. To maintain your glow and prolong results:

- Wear daily SPF to protect your new skin.

- Follow a consistent skincare routine with gentle cleansers and hydrating products.

- Consider maintenance sessions depending on your skin concerns.
